      For a start, I think it's too late in the legislative session. Could do it in the new year, but if Kerry's getting something then it would not go over well.

      The half assed bill they passed in 2009 so the Gov could appoint Paul Kirk for a couple months did not go over well, and did some harm to Coakley. Looked like Democratic machine politics and Snotty got to spin his "people's seat" BS.

      Should have never passed it. Should have repealed it when Teddy got sick. Should have repealed it before now.

      I still don't think Brown can grab the seat in a special election if these results hold.

      A society is judged by how well it cares for those in the dawn of life, the children. By how well it cares for those in the twilight of life, the elderly. And, by how well it cares for those on the edge of life; the poor, the sick, and the disabled.
