  •  Early voted today (11+ / 0-)

up in Northeast Raleigh (on the Wake Tech north campus), straight dem ticket, of course.

Took about 45 minutes of waiting in line.

Dan Nagle himself was there, I was polite and DIDN'T tell him I wasn't going to vote for him :)

Hey, one thing I am looking at for the future is turnout in college precincts. It's easier to figure out which precincts go with which campuses for some colleges than for others. Wake is one of the harder ones - do you happen to know which precinct has the campus of Wake Forest?

      •  One clarification.. (0+ / 0-)

Wake Tech Community College is in Raleigh, Wake County.

Wake Forest University is located in Winston-Salem, in Forsyth County.

I'm not sure about precincts; the address of the main campus doesn't report a result when searching for a precinct.. an address on another campus building on Reynolda Rd/Polo Rd returns precinct 801.  But the voting results for that precinct don't exactly scream 'youth vote'.

...this just happened to be the early voting location nearest my apartment, just north of I-540 on Louisburg Road.  NC State campus also has an early voting center, right in the middle of Talley Student Center.

          •  Well, Matt was asking about Wake Forest.. (0+ / 0-)

..not Wake Tech.  Sounds like he's not familiar with NC.
