  •  When Clinton Was in Office, At Numerous Ethnic (10+ / 0-)

    events it was common in parts of Ohio for me to hear toasts to the Queen of England by name or the head of state by name of some other ethnic homeland, but then to toast "the office of" the President of the United States so as to avoid invoking a blessing on Clinton himself.

    It's worse now --but not unprecedented.
