my friend brought me some Scotch last spring.  Perhaps just a sip, after savoring the wonderful scent of it.  Damn the torpedoes, I am going full in in the morning!

    Warmest regards,

    Doc

a long bit about how Scotch is made.  It is a fascinating story, and quite complex.  Peat be with ye!

Tomorrow will be a drive to the countryside, and hopefully a round of golf in the rain/sleet. Then a fire and dinner. And sleep.
The game is better that way in inclement weather - no nobs or loafers crowding the course. Blissful solitude, irons, and mud (and Gore-tex). Cheerio.

Maybe a touch of seersucker, with an open neck.
I ride a G.S. scooter with my hair cut neat,
Wear my wartime coat in the wind and sleet.

Please sleep well, my friend!  We shall see what the torpedoes have in store for me in the morning.

        Warmest regards,

        Doc
