    aside from his riff on rumsfeld and the pack of lies, my favorite part was during his exchange with levin, after elaborating on the death toll on children of the oil for food program,  

    "david bonior... described the sanctions policy as 'infanticide masquerading as politics.' senator coleman thinks that's funny but i think it's the most profound description of that era that i have ever read."

    timesonline reports that coleman "seemed close to the giggles."

    this was in answering an annoying, immaterial question about whether he would be "troubled" if the donor to his charity was involved in kickbacks to iraq. (so what if he says yes?)

    galloway did come across a tad vainglorious, but it was nice to see someone telling the truth about the war to someone like coleman (who sounds a lot like elmer fudd). i wish there was a camera on him. (here's one picture i found.)

    i'm not convinced about galloway's innocence. he's probably legally clean, but i wouldn't doubt that he was aware the money was coming from kickbacks.
