    I had not seen it and would not have if it was not on TPM. There is a difference between a post in a news article and Facebook.

    I do not have a problem with TPM saying 'this was on her facebook page'. Just like one can say the n word in the context of relating a story.

    This needs to be exposed and there is no other way. I don't know why Americans have this idea that they cannot see anything grotesque. Didn't we go through this when Americans were not exposed to pictures of the war dead because it was too upsetting?

      makes the disrespect and callousness more real.

      But if it were my loved one, I would not want the world seeing the pic and making comments like people do. I would ESPECIALLY not want the dripping blood and anti-PBO comment.

      GWB stopped pix of caskets because he feared the people would rise up and demand an end to Iraq as they did Vietnam.

      If the withdrawal were not in process, I'd support seeing the Nato forces and Afghanis killed every night on the news. Maybe then the war-mongers would defeated for real.
