  •  That was less of a debate (17+ / 0-)

than it was an ambush.  Stammering, waffling, pressured speech, hyperventilating, and his upper lip and forehead was sweating despite the makeup.  And what was it with the twitches?  Most of his body language "tells" were microscopic except to the trained eye, but people will notice that something about him was not quite right, even if they cannot put their finger on it.

The late Dr. Ray Birdwhistell spend most of his life studying non-verbal communication.  Birdwhistell's research concluded as much as 70% of human communication was non-verbal.

The President was cool, knew his material, and Romney was completely out of his league and element.  The idea of him trying to conduct foreign policy is scary, because he demonstrated his incompetence tonight.

    •  Yes, and the fact that anyone said it was a draw (4+ / 0-)

was either lying or so in the tank for Romney that it blinded them from the truth. Steve Schmidt? Never will take what he says seriously again. David Gergen and most of the CNN panel? what the hell? Gergen lost any respect from me last night. I guess they saw what happened to Obama on his first debate, and they didn't want to pan Romney; they want a close election and will do whatever they can to create that scenario.
