    much (Israeli) opposition to Netanyahu's policies. It is mostly a 'circling the wagons' attitude that prevails.

    I also wish for a moderate (or even progressive) government in Israel, but it seems highly unlikely.

      You're right, Netanyanhu is very popular there, and a right-wing ideology dominates right now.  

      It's just so FRUSTRATING, because with the current government in the West Bank, Israel has the best opportunity to make major strides with the Palestinians since the time of Yitzhak Rabin, and they are BLOWING it!!!  This opportunity is slipping away and it could be another 20 years before they get another one!!!

        Likud has no intention of making "land swaps" or anything else, and they've made that very obvious with their policies.  Bibi doesn't want peace with Palestinians.  He wants annexation after massive ethnic cleansing.
