...the President has made it clear that...
In all of these gaggle and other events, we always hear similar phrases. "The President believes...", "The President feels...", "The President has been working with...", "The President wants the Congress to..."

It's all such bullshit. Last week Dubya got caught goofing off in the middle of the day instead of working. We've all known that he has the attention span of a flea when it comes to hard work but now it's pretty tough to spin away since we got accidental confirmation of what he's really been up to.

And yet the illusion continues on and on.  Scottie drones away attributing all manner of thinking and hard work to Dubya, as if Dubya has any clue at all about what's being said on his behalf on a daily basis.

Every President has spokespeople who have the unenviable job of making shit up. But this one in particular, when let loose without a script, always gives the impression that the White House dog has been well fed on after-school assignments.

If the press is finally going to locate their missing testicles, I could only wish that they'd bring in a big fan to blow away the smoke and get down to some serious truth.

Meanwhile I won't hold my breath for too long.

He has oil. He tried to kill my daddy.
