    a bunch of horrifying names.

    Ashcroft.  Cheney.  Hatch.   Bork.

Some say Rehnquist will announce his resignation as soon as the nuclear option bomb is dropped.

If the nominee to replace him goes through with no trouble, there could be two more resignations (O'Connor, Stevens) right behind him.

I'm sorry but I don't see the fun in reading this transcript.  It reminds me of the darkest days of Ari Fleischer when the level of utter BS and gobbledygook was only matched by the level of arrogance and attitude.

They spew this nonsense and get away with it because Joe and Jane Redvoter are too stupid to recognize it as BS and gobbledygook and Joe and Jane Redvoter are willing to vote Republican even when they know they are being lied to.  When we point this out we are called insensitive, and we are told to stop insulting the red states, but it is their inability to tie their votes to the truth that is responsible for Iraq and Bush's second term and this unconstitutional attempt at one party rule.

The only thing that comforts me is the hope that they will screw up so bad that we will win some seats in 2006 and the presidency in 2008 and undo some of the horror they will foist upon our country in the meantime.

    end of mini rant...

Politics is like driving. To go backward, put it in R. To go forward, put it in D.

    •  I've heard Senator John... (none)
"murder of judges is understandable because of their judicial activism" Cornyn's name floated for SCOTUS, if you can believe it.
      •  Oh God save us (none)
This is the first I've heard about Cornyn.  What a mad mad mad mad world...
