Iranian supply ships will just easily pass right through without interference from the entire US 6th fleet & Sigonella air base, plus all sorts of other NATO bases and resources all over the Med, dock happily and safely in Syria, and then the supplies and munitions will be carried by mule train all the way to Iran. The mule trains will then pick up barrels of oil -- two per mule -- and bring them back to Syria through either Northern Iraq or Turkey, and load them on to ships.*

*Yes, obviously one could use other forms of land transit. But they're all pretty silly for this, so, well, I like mule trains.

    •  And if Syria is a route to the sea... (0+ / 0-)

...because it borders the sea and Iran could smuggle things overland to these foreign shores -- then Iran has other paths through Turkey, Iraq, and Pakistan. It's kettle logic. Syria is a route to the sea because it borders the sea, but other places that border Iran AND the sea for some reason are excluded, because that's convenient for covering up Mitt's ignorance.

it fitfully blows, half conceals, half discloses
