  •  Folks, we are dealing (8+ / 0-)

with some wretched evil people under the guise of being God fearing Americans.
This shit is insane and damnit, it is time to start calling it what it is. Evil.

There is nothing normal or Christian in his words.

These demented people are using their very own faith as a shield. The media will not challenge this crap for fear that it would upset the Christian community.

They keep pushing the boundries of what a society considers acceptable. How much further will they go? Hard to say, but so far I see no evidence of it abating, only an escalation of crazy in the name of God.

BTW, I know there are good Christians. This is so far removed from Jesus and the core teachings it is insulting.

I mean, a CORE component of everything Jesus ever taught is how ultimately empty and fleeting worldly power and wealth are. The guy is depicted as fleeing an adoring crowd because he doesn't want them to crown him their King. It's very different from Islam (and to a lesser degree, Judaism) in that regard. Politicizing Christianity inherently corrupts it, and the guy who started the whole shebang implied this on several occasions. "Render unto Caesar...."
