Okay, I live in South Florida and while geographically the deep south, it's a lot bluer where I am. However, that said, I too saw a LOT more McCain/Palin enthusiasm (bumper stickers, yard signs) than I do this cycle.  Only recently has some stuff cropped up on a corner near my office for Robme/Lyin (my office is close to Lynn University).  A few times I've also seen a lot of white, older people (older than me, and I'm 50) standing on 2 corners waving signs, flags (and not getting much in the way of honks or even looks).

I did also see this past Monday morning Big Bird and Elmo standing on one of those corners (near my office) with signs that said "save my job!" and THEY got a whole LOT more support, honks, thumbs up (and smiles)...

I agree that the media is trying to push this "oh my God it's so close" and "it'll be a nail biter" narrative, the same way they tried to make it a horse race with McCain in 08, and that shit wasn't even a contest. This one will probably be closer, but comparatively speaking, that's not saying much.

Not resting on our laurels, still need to GOTV.  Because I want to go to sleep on Nov. 6 secure not only in an Obama/Biden victory, but by a landfuckinslide.  I want all these bullshit polls to have been embarrassingly wrong...
