    Lower level graduation requirements provide much liberal arts exposure to the STEM student.
    Given the trends, there's no guarantee that this will be the case - and I suspect it's already much less the case than it was when you were getting your education.
    If anything, my STEM education challenged me to hone my critical thinking skills much more than that of my liberal arts education.
    That's great.  It's also the opposite of what I hear from most people with training in both.
