  •  True, but at least he got Wellstone's seat back. (1+ / 0-)

He's more progressive than Klobuchar. I don't think Paul Walser would ever cut an ad for Franken.

Fun Fact: Walser used to own land that neighbored some of my family's land in Western Wisconsin. He donated it to a church about 2 years ago. More than once, his caretaker approached us to buy a piece of ours that jutted out into his. We never sold. He had a mansion, trails, and even a landing strip, which my family calls "Bogus International Airport", as the strip is on the brim of Bogus Valley, and on Bogus Road. (Years and years and years ago, some people would make bogus money down in the valley, hence the name "Bogus")

Farm boy, 20, who hit the city to go to college, WI-03 (home, voting), WI-02 (college), -6.00, -3.54, I finally got a chance to do something my parents have done for years- vote against Tommy Thompson!!!! Tammy Baldwin for US Senate!!!!!

And more open to compromise. Franken is a true ideologue. Not that that is terrible, but it means he will never be as popular as the senior senator. And with enormous popularity comes equally enormous clout. When needed, Klobuchar has much more political capital to expend on an issue than Franken ever will.
