yesterday, a friend asked me to go to her house to let her dogs out since she, unexpectedly, could not get away from work to do it herself.

her husband, an avid Fox and Rush fan, died over a year ago.  they always left a portable radio turned on "for the dogs" and it was always tuned to an AM right wing talk station.  the tuner hasn't budged since the husband died, so when i was looking in on the dogs and finally sat down with them on the sofa (to give them some luvin') my ears tuned into the radio.

i couldn't believe that more than a month and a half since the Benghazi attacks that right wing talk radio continues to make try to make a story of this.  i don't know who the female host was but the right seems determined not to let this go.  it's no wonder that Romney flubbed in the debate on this issue.  what i could not determine, from what i heard, is whether it is typical Fox News stuff that tries to make a story out of nothing or if they keep trying to press the topic to make it seem like Romney was not wrong on Libya in the debate.

that topic aside, do dogs really find having a radio on to be comforting?  seems to me they would appreciate the silence more than hearing constant noise in the house.

I'm a blue drop in a red bucket.
