    to walk through the line of logic...

    Rape fetus=gift from god
    Rape=Satan being Satan?

    Is God just trying to make these ladies feel better for what Satan went and did to them... ladies like babies, right?

      Those dime-store Republican mystics are speaking in tongues and talking out of their asses.

      I'm just not getting the logic here. But if a child born out of rape is "God's plan," then how is it any different from a pregnancy where the life of the mother is at stake?

      •  They're twisting their anti-abortion agenda (0+ / 0-)

        Those idiots have always thumped their bibles in defense of their stupid agenda — even though not a single word in their bible forbids abortion. As a matter of fact, there's a passage in Ecclesiastes that seems to defend it!

        To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:
        A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted;

        If your premise is: fetus=life, then there can be no exceptions.  They only make the exceptions because no one in their right mind would accept forcing a 13 year old to have her father's baby, or letting a pregnant woman bleed out...

        When you do, irreparable brain damage can occur. The evidence is all around us, right here, everywhere.

      believe in Satan, right? And that He's out walking up & down in the World doing His thing? So why can't it be that a rape conception is something that comes from The Evil One - Whose works they all swear to overthrow?

      •  I think most mainline Christians (0+ / 0-)

        do believe in evil, but I am not sure we believe in Satan as a "person" - any more than many of us believe in God the Creator as an old man sitting up in heaven on a cloud.

        The Orthodox, however, DO believe that God the Creator is God the Father - literally a being who is male.  I never asked them one way or the other about Satan.

      LOkI , the msm refuse to hold these people accountable for their comments , the cbs national news reported this last night and pretty much just said mourdock apologized for it , once I read what mourdock really said , I was appalled that they would try and pass that off as a real apology , I hope the local media are covering this properly , but I doubt it , the gop get a pass every time , while dems are anally held accountable by the press every time
