    Very Serious People who wish this were a closer race, who wish to please their Republican Board Members and advertisers, and who secretly want another tax break primarily for the wealthy.

      To read the front page, R-money in on the verge of a gigantic win.  While I think RCP tries to be pretty neutral, in the final analysis, they lean right (sort of like Rasmusson).  It helps to read Nate Silver's page and also to look at Political Wire.  

      In general, I think it is a grave mistake to give equal weight to Republican wingers (their connection to reality is tenuous at best) and Democratic operatives.  

      The networks are tools of wealth and wealth leans to the right.  However, what I think what they and many others want is what they are going to get--an election that isn't over five minutes after the polls close in the east.
