not debate a racist. This reminds me of the Holocaust author Deborah Lipstadt refusing to debate the holocaust denier, David Irving. ON multiple occasions. She always refused to share the stage with a denier.

He sued her for defamation (she'd said in her books he was a denier) in a UK court where the burden is on the defendant and not the plaintiff. So, harder for Lipstadt.

    Here's the wiki link

    And here's the judge's conclusion

“    Irving has for his own ideological reasons persistently and deliberately misrepresented and manipulated historical evidence; that for the same reasons he has portrayed Hitler in an unwarrantedly favourable light, principally in relation to his attitude towards and responsibility for the treatment of the Jews; that he is an active Holocaust denier; that he is anti-Semitic and racist, and that he associates with right-wing extremists who promote neo-Nazism.[4][64] ... therefore the defence of justification succeeds.[5] ... It follows that there must be judgment for the Defendants.[65]
Never never debate with a racist, anti-semite, homophobe, etc.
