public airwaves to give communities information can use to elect representatives to serve them in Washington".

I have, on behalf of my employer at the time, acquired broadcast properties, have written license transfer applications, conducted "needs, interests, and aspirations" interviews with local influence leaders, and done everything required to comply with all FCC laws and regulations running broadcast properties. I have never read anything regarding holding a FCC license that has any requirement to comply with your quote. Some stations just play music. There are no requirements regarding the content of radio shows as long as they don't violate any specific FCC regulations.

of the entire paragraph so i modified it. thanks for  pointing that out.

generally, using those stations for systematic denial of global warming for the purposes of obstructing government action needed to avoid world wide species extinction and human suffering is not operating in the public interest.

limbaugh was named climate change denier of the year for 2011 by media matters. he was the primary tool (with those stations) used to create the "climate gate" East Anglia email fraud that climatologist Michael Mann recently 'credited with setting us back two years on climate action and for sabotaging the Copenhagen climate talks.

This is a list of 76 universities for Rush Limbaugh that endorse global warming denial, racism, sexism, and partisan lying by broadcasting sports on Limbaugh radio stations.
