    might affect GOTV operations, especially in VA and even in northeastern Ohio.

      and using the weekday nights for phone banking.   That is is at least the plan in Arlington, can't speak for the rest of Virginia.

      If this holds, and if the phone lines are not down, the weather patterns we are expecting here should have normalized by the critical time next Saturday.   Normalized, but they probably will not return to the beautiful warm fall weather we have been enjoying for the last few weeks.

      So, while nothing should be taken for granted, of course, the likelihood of a major disruption to door-to-door efforts would appear to be small.   And - on the "bright" side - bad weather increases contact rates, as more people stay home.
