RCP will show Virginia as a "tie" when it incorporates this poll. Romney is toast if Virginia is even in question. Virginia is more favorable to him than Iowa, Nevada, Ohio, and Wisconsin.

The day may come, when the rest of the animal creation may acquire those rights which never could have been withholden from them but by the hand of tyranny.

They don't have WaPo+4 up yet, but Obama will have a small lead in their average.

I don't believe that "Romney is toast if VA is in question," because that would presume that Obama doesn't need VA as a firewall.  Romney may be toast if VA goes to Obama on election day - now that is more accurate to say.

he can win without it fairly easily actually, but I favor fighting for it vigorously because it is very likely to put us over 300 EVs.

blue electoral map AND coattails!  To move forward as a people and repair the body politic, the policies of Corporatists and Radical Right Fundies must face utter defeat and rejection by the majority.

        If it's
        Not your body,
        Then it's
        Not your choice
        And it's
        None of your damn business!

I think what Tetris means is that if Romney isn't reaching the constituencies or demographics he would need to win Virginia, then he is not likely to be reaching those same constituencies or demographics in Iowa, Nevada, Ohio, and Wisconsin.  Whites who are uncomfortable with blacks would be just one of those.

I agree with Tetris, if that is what was meant.  If the Romney/Ryan campaign was working as they wanted and needed it to, they would be up by more than 2 in Virginia.
