how Obama is polling in Ohio right now and how Kerry was in 2004. For starters, Obama has had a lead in virtually every single poll taken there this year, with a few ties thrown in. In 2004, while there were some polls at this time showing Kerry +6, +4, and +2 there were others showing Bush +5, +4, +2. In other words, there was no consensus, no obvious trend in favor of one candidate or another - until the last weekend of the campaign when that Bin Laden video came out and Bush took the lead in 9 of the last 10 polls.

the polls.  Just now someone posted a new one - tied in OH.

You'll see it all over the place in the next few days.

Why is it that a 3% tax increase for the wealthy is considered "socialism" and an 8% wage cut for the middle class is "doing your part"? MartyM
