    and he was saying how government needed to be cut and Social Security reformed. I've always liked him in the past and realize we're talking about Nebraska here, but I was pretty annoyed by his talking points.

    But of course he would be a vast improvement over the alternative and I hope he can pull it off.

      This man is running in a Republican state. Compare him to Scott Brown acting all "liberal". Reid will try to keep him in line when it comes to actually voting.

      Republicans are far more socialist than Democrats. Just because they want to redistribute the wealth upwards does not make it any better.

          Back when he was Senator before? From what I here he was more liberal than Nelson, though he may have turned more to the right this time around.
