In Alaska, for example, many citizens work for the federal government, like the coast guard, military, National Parks Service, Fish and Wildlife,  etc.

I've lived in a donor state all of my life, and yeah, it bugs me that we don't get back what we put in.  But when we look at where the money goes, we can't really call many of those citizens "moochers."

Well, unless you're Mitt Romney, that is...

The south and mountain/plains region contribute more active service members overall than over regions of the nation. A citizen who grows up in a  state and goes off to serve his country contributes to her  "subsidized state"'status.

If you want to call these people not self -sufficient, be my guest....

So if you get hit by a bus tonight, would you be satisfied with how you spent today, your last day on earth? Live like tomorrow is never guaranteed, because it's not. -- Me.
