    acid chemist and crystallographer.

    It is quite clear to me that Rosalind Franklin was robbed blind.  It is also true that for anyone who understood helical diffraction theory (Cochran, Crick, and Vand, Acta Cryst. 5, 581 (1952)) the helical structure of the (stolen) 'B DNA photograph' practically jumps off the page.

    Crick at least had real brains; Watson was a noodge (a persistent noodge) and a thief.  His later career bears this out as well.

    Rosie deserves huge credit, and I hope history will eventually give her her full due.
