    ... be constrained by 'fact-checkers.'

Fine. Why has Romney not denied the rumors he raped and murdered a teenage girl?

    Silence speaks everything.

our consumer economy with all it's subservience to marketing has hit that saturation point where we're no longer even interested in truth because, well, it just doesn't sell.  Fellow rubes, we're being fleeced but fear not because they have coats for sale.
As for me, I'm on my way to buy up a bunch of those ear debris vacuums for use after the election and hope they actually do remove the lies from our ears, but then... You see where I'm going here, don't you?

Romney went to France instead of serving in our military, got rich chop-shopping US businesses and eliminating US jobs, off-shored his money in the Cayman Islands, and now tells us to "Believe in America."

in Benghazi personally. How else could he have sent out his press release before news of the attack came out?

We heard him on that 47 percent tape, hoping for some kind of incident like the Iran hostage rescue. Mitt got tired of waiting for something to happen, so he made it happen.

Notice this scenario is no less grounded in fact than any number of tropes pushed nonstop on Fox News about the Obama administration.

Imagine if we had a network devoted 24 hours a day to pushing conspiracy theories about Mitt Romney.
