A couple of friends and I have been trying to get response from the EP team in California without success.  (We are all attorneys).   Anyone you know of we should get in touch with directly?

    •  Go directly to local Dem/Obama headquarters. (5+ / 0-)

Our county party is coordinating with the O team to ensure we have legal EP folks around, who then phone into state HQ.

to apply on-line. Training is required (which you can hopefully still accomplish online or by recording). I know they are still looking for volunteers in IA. I assume the emphasis is on the swing states. Could you and your friends travel? I'm volunteering in IA.

the Clerk/Recorder is also the elections office. They do all training for poll workers (either on-site or on-line). So all poll workers, regardless of their political affiliation, are taught the correct rules. The senior person at any precinct is in charge to correct any errors if they come up.

I picked up an application to become a poll worker, but I'm not going to be available on election day.

As for poll watchers, I don't recall that they were at my precinct (but it's been a long time since I voted in person).
