  •  Stupid Question: Who Sought Brown's Opinion? (5+ / 0-)

I mean, honestly.  Let's say you're a serious journalist (I know, right?  Just go with it, anyway), and you're looking for an opinion on the post-hurricane relief efforts to broaden, or even pad out, your story.  Presumably you would want to speak to someone credible, with a track record of success in disaster management.

In that context, why would Brown's name ever come up?  Who still has him in their Rolodex?  Who thinks he has anything valuable to contribute, other than as a witness against the previous Administration?

Okay, so, let's say you're a partisan hack, and Brown is still on your short list.  You still have to get your story past an editor before it sees air or print.  What editor -- someone who is answerable for the content of their publication -- would let anything from Brown see the light of day?

As Atrios so often says: We are ruled by the worst people in the world.

ing having him in the news to remind folks of the sheer stupid incompetence of not just the bush admin but the entire republican party.
      it's perfect timing!

GWB was a CEO. Hoover was a CEO. 2 CEO presidents. 2 great depressions. Can america afford another CEO president?
