        but having totally swallowed the bs about romney's unstoppable momentum, they're having trouble understanding it.

          With some media guy saying he'd never heard of Nate Silver, but that's a cool name, if that's his real name.  And, no, people shouldn't attack him just because he came up with a model whose results they don't like.  But the model, which isn't REALLY saying Obama has it in the bag anyway, (and it isn't), probably has something wrong with it. After all he's been talking with swing voters in swing states he's ran into a lot more people who voted for Obama last time and are now supporting Romney than people who voted for McCain and are now with the President and he can't really see how Obama could possibly overcome his anecdotal evidence.

          Seriously, this was on the Washington Post's site.

            Was this an editorial?  Or just a random commenter on the web site?  If it's just a random dude on the internet posting a blog comment, that's not nearly the dumbest thing one can find among such comments, although it's plenty dumb enough.
