  •  A glimmer of bipartisanship...... (4+ / 0-)

....is great to see whatever the underlying motivation.

Christie will be rewarded....I'd like to see it catch on!

Rule #7...If you supported the Iraq war, you don't get to complain about the national debt.

    •  Christie just wants to look like he is (11+ / 0-)

working for his state.  His convention speech was just terrible, all about him.  And he learned from Rmoney'sa time as governor....LOOK like you are working hard.  I think he also learned a lot from the shit he took for being on vacation during the blizzard.

So, Christie isn't doing this for the people of his state.  He's doing it for him.

Do not ever vote for this guy.

      •  Yeah, just pull up a youtube video of him (5+ / 0-)

at a town hall berating a teacher, and you'll forget you ever wanted to vote for him.

Remember, you can't have crazy without az.

.....dontcha think that the example if him, working with the enemy, for common good of the people, while benefitting politically, might be a prescription for those politically inclined?

Everybody wins, don't they? Isn't this how it should be?

But Chris Christie does not have good intentions.   He runs THE state with the most power vested in the governor.  He will expect that in Washington too.  And can you imagine his lumbering, hollering self doing foreign policy?  OMG - the thought terrifies me.

No.  Take his momentary lapse of his true judgement for what it is:  self-preservation.  Perhaps a true caring for the state he's from, but past this?  He will go right back to being the giant dick he is.

....there'll be the video of him walking side-by-side with Obama come 2016......It'll never go away.

For the moment, this is a beautiful thing. We''ll cross the 2016 bridge when we get there.
