  •  Entitlement is a white male disease? (0+ / 0-)

Like Romney for the Presidency -- "It's my turn" -- thinking that somehow you are entitled to the job because you're next in line or whatever, and then being both bitter and incredulous if the world doesn't hand it to you.

... I wouldn't say that.  I don't think he thought he was entitled to it, but I think he felt he worked hard, put out smart analysis, and got passed over for a guy who danced on stage with Karl Rove.  So less entitlement, more, if you can't beat 'em, join 'em.

      •  His analysis is limited to numbers (0+ / 0-)

For example, he memorizes Democratic counties, Republican counties, and swing counties in swing states. He tells us the vote totals from previous elections and then gives his estimates on upcoming elections. He never deals with actual issues, by analyzing their impact on real people. Everything, and I mean EVERYTHING, is analyzed in terms of how it impacts The Race, which he desperately hopes comes down to the wire, so he can use the big touch screens to tell us specifics about congressional districts, counties, etc. Gregory isn't much better, but I fail to see how Todd is qualified to run a show like MTP. His own show on MSNBC is awful. He runs through a bunch of bullet points in the first few minutes, invites Democratic and Republican spokesmen, then he has a panel. He never challengers his guests on anything. It's polls, polls, and more polls, and how individual events will influence polls.
