In terms of pressure.  I got a 957mb out of the diary, but I thought I heard a a TV report that it had ultimately dropped below 950mb just before it hit landmass.

My bet is that this thing dropped to below 28 inches of mercury, but I haven't found anything specific anywhere.

Did you get an ultimate lo pressure reading on this thing from anywhere?

If you say "gullible" real slow, it sounds like "green beans."

      •  Thank you, sir. (0+ / 0-)

Where can I go to find such info?  My meteorological experience is limited and my resources paltry.

I'll admit that I've been somewhat of an amateur weatherbug since I took a lone Meteorology class in 1978.  We learned how to read station maps (and I've forgotten much of it), but I've not seen them used when I go to the NWS website.  Data like this is important.

Thanks for the reading.  Hope to hear from you soon.
