Republicans can't win if enough people turn out to vote. So what do they do? Try to annoy and anger people into not caring, and not voting.

It's a pathetic way to try to win, and there is no way these people can govern if (by some awful twist of fate or heavy cheating) they do win. But these guys don't care about governing, they just care about grabbing power and funneling workers' hard-earned money to their oligarch buddies.

We need to step up right after this election and demand a limit on political ads and ad time available to campaigns. And do it while this disgusting last 2 months is in people's minds (I live in Wisconsin, the ads are beyond obnoxious and overwhelmingly negative).

    •  Exactly. You are both correct. (0+ / 0-)

If they get one person to not vote, they win. They don't need that person to vote for Romney, they just need him/her to give up. In a sad way, having any pro-Dem ads run (+ or -) can hurt, because it feeds into the "both sides are doing it" theme. Because both sides are doing "it"--when "it" means "ruining my relaxation time."
