  •  Good question (4+ / 0-)

if my experience is anything to go by canvassing in the Cincinnati area, home of Boehner, I'd say it's been pretty exciting both among volunteers and those we were able to contact.

The method to OFA madness is truly awe-inspiring. Last week our staging station was responsible for "sporadics & persuadables" only (i.e. those untouched by "likely voter" screens. I worked on off campus student apartments and initially had little hope for getting any commitments. But boy was I pleasantly surprised. The people that I actually made contact with had just voted or were certain to vote. It means the campaign whizkids had perfected their models for ferreting out Obama sporadic voters without wasting volunteers' time on chasing "undecideds". So the early votes comprises a good chunk of unlikely voters. Just pure icing on our cake.

This weekend until election day will be devoted to turning out base Democratic voters to the polls..

Seems smart to me. But we'll all know the result on election day.
