  •  First, everybody must learn as much as they (none)
can about science, technology, math. Forget degrees. MIT puts a lot of its course material on their website free. There is tons of information on the Internet. You never know, we may have to maintain our own underground intranet if they try to bar us from the Internet. Good idea to learn as much as possible now.

Second, the parasitic class that runs this country--the ones that seem to know how to do nothing except steal and deceive and kill-- would not know what to do if we who know technology or science or carpentry or highway construction or engineering or cooking or cleaning or taking care of children and all the other useful things that people do just withdraw our services.

    I can dream can't I?

    •  I'd bet my dog (4.00)
has forgotten more "science, technology, math" than the republican brain trust could muster amongst the lot of itself right now...

and she worships a tennins ball.

      •  That tennis ball (none)
is a more benevolent god than the one worsipped by some o' them fundies.
      •  I have proof! (4.00)
Our dog swallowed a ball recently and it had to be surgically removed.

Well, we go the ball back in a plastic baggy and sure as hell, being an educated puppy--both her parents are scientists--she tried to do what any good scientist would do in a similar case. Eat the ball again to repeat her experiment, thus proving that eating a ball the size of a tennis ball results in your parents spending $1500.00 to have it removed and her spending 2 weeks with a lampshade on her head and 30 staples in her belly.

Fortunately for her, due to recent cuts in NIH funding by BushCo her application outlining the repeat experiment was rejected. Her reviews indicated that while her experiment was well designed and she had significant preliminary data backing her claims, she should resubmit her application indicating how her faith in DOG might help her pass a 4 inch plastic ball through her digestive tract.

Behind the dark veil of patriotism a nation mourns itself.
