    As I noted earlier in one of your other diaries, I remember being made to feel unwelcome in the world of work at age 18.  I was treated as if I were stupid and utterly without any redeeming value by employment agencies and prospective employers.  

    I did a better job than the other page at the accounting firm I worked for, and I was always on time to work.  The overfed blob of lard who was the other page had a comfortable breakfast in the coffee shop adjoining the accounting firm and rolled in at 8:20, as opposed to 8:00 a.m.  Yet he never got called on it and was favored over me in every way by the boss.

    I got so goddamn pissed over the unequal treatment that I got another job. I hope the old shitburger that was my boss got his karmic reward.

      son read them ALL! (a little short on conventional socialization, as it has turned out; also, his mama was the work-outside-the-home parent for his whole life, so this is probably REALLY gonna' be news he needs to see, 8-))

      "real" work : a job where you wash your hands BEFORE you use the bathroom...
