    Although it is clear that Ohio Democrats have over 2,000 lawyers enlisted to assist with the Ohio election, it should be noted that efforts undertaken after the election are often found to have no legal remedy, as in Florida's 2000 election.  In other words, after the vote is cast and tabulated, the vote is effectively a "fait accompli," and it cannot be undone or repeated.
    Florida has in its election law a manual audit.  But here is some of the exact text:
    Immediately following the certification of each election, the county canvassing board or the local board responsible for certifying the election shall conduct a manual audit of the voting systems used in randomly selected precincts.
    So, the election gets certified, then a manual audit is done?  Oh, yeah, that'll work.
