Being Black, I cannot forget the fact that my older relatives had to pay poll taxes, take literacy tests, and face violence to vote.  Similarly, many other folks of various races fought and died so that anyone could make their voices heard on Election Day.

When I hear that the GOP is doing this without being prosecuted, it says to me that not enough is being done to stop this criminality.  As long as the RW gets away with crap like this, the people of America are being short-changed by cynical, entitled and racist assholes who do this to keep the bloody legacy of Jim Crow in the present.

They are no better than the law enforcement and citizen councils who used their racial privilege on a whim to hurt others during the civil rights era.  What they are doing is traitorous and seditious.  It is about time to call it like it is.
This is no time for niceties.
