  •  So who voted for Scott&the Republicon Legistature? (4+ / 0-)

I'm disgusted about reading stories like this.  Who voted for these creeps?  Floridians and those in other states who voted in Republicons to control their state will NOT see this as a learning lesson, but will continue to vote for them. As I hear seniors, middle class voters and others who will be voting for Romney/Ryan my blood boils.  They are voting against their own best interests and all they see is that the man currently sitting in the White House is black.  Well, that black man is and will do more for them than any Republicon ever will.

It's a disgrace what the Republicons are doing this election cycle but what are all of you going to do to rectify this for future elections?  Will you re-elect a Congressman, Senator (or elect), member of your State Legislature or Governor who will screw you for their own interests or will you elect a DEMOCRATIC candidate who will not take away your rights?

Look, I live in NYC and you all know that we're in dire straites with Hurricane Sandy.  FEMA is here, helping us and FEMA was there and will be there for you too ONLY IF Romney & Ryan are NOT elected.   Between this, women's issues, the economy, the war in Afganistan, the control Romney will give to corporations to write our laws, lack of regulations, health care, Pell grants, etc., etc. this is our last chance to save our country.  You've got to remember these things, now and in 2014 when your next having to vote for Governor.  I don't care to hear crap and crying about your rights when there are those of you who voted to give up these rights.

    •  People in the villages I guess (5+ / 0-)

Can't find anyone who will own up to voting for any of them.  In three years I met one person who admitted and regretted voting for Scott.

    •  he won because Dems were lazy in 2010 (0+ / 0-)

he didn't even actually have a majority, he just had more votes than Alex Sink.

He only had 48% of the vote.  Sink had 47%.

He put in $73 million of his own money and even though people know he's a crook (Solantic, HCA), a lot of the tea party people did the whole "forgive & forget" crap.

We had a couple of NPA people running and the American Independence Party - they siphoned off 3% of the vote - if those had gone to Sink, we wouldn't have Voldemort as our governor.

Can't wait until 2014 to get rid of him - we have to wake up the democrats in this state - the whole state is run by the GOP.

      •  Corrupt POS (0+ / 0-)

I hope you do replace him in 2014.  This guy was known to be corrupt from the get-go and he doesn't warrent even 1 term, let alone a 2nd one.  The Florida Democratic Organization better get their act in order by June 2013 at the latest and get a candidate who will trounce this creep.  Of course, besides replacing Scott you have to replace the Legislature too.
