in 2004, 10 hour waits at Kenyon College as I recall.

Why to your last question? Dems don't seem to do that sort of thing, neither do our admins.

admins to step up to the plate and complain about these kinds of things?

It seems bizarre that we accept this as normal, and just complain here to each other after seeing this in every election of the last 40 year, maybe longer.

Even the national reporters.  How many elections do you remember seeing reports of people of color waiting 8 hours to vote, and then having the doors closed in their faces at some cut off time, as if this were normal and acceptable?

How many times have you seen wealthy white people in wealthy suburban areas waiting sadly, politely, and quietly in line for eight hours to vote?

Ali Berman of the Nation wrote an article earlier today about that scoundral   Secretary of State in OH, who is defying court order to keep polling places open for more hours for early voting.

If we keep losing elections by 500 votes or so, when we can imagine a couple hundred thousand of Democrats may have just gone home after seeing the lines in Democratic areas, I very well may complain to somebody, -- other than you.

This just isn't right, and I don't understand why people like Wolf Blitzer, are not jumping up and down having a fit about how our democracy is being subverted right before our eyes instead of reporting these situations like it was as normal as a weather report!

And, where is the outrage from our Congressional Black Causus, NAACP, Jessie Jackson, etc.  when we see day after day of 8 hour lines for people of color, and hardly any for white voters?
