  •  Yeah! Finally the disenfranchisement issue framed (8+ / 0-)

in a way that may resonate.....if you are even thinking of committing the offense of 'voting while poor, brown, or black', you will get the leftovers when all the 'burbs and gated communities have submitted their voting machine and polling staff needs.  After all, those are are the folks who actually pay taxes (or those selected taxes that the smokescreeners want to talk about, that is).

    •  This isn't right. We have 48 hours left before the (7+ / 0-)

      final election.

A judge should order the fire department of national guard to transport surplus voting machines from all the wealth suburbs that had not early voting lines, to this under supplied areas.

In an election that may again come down to a few thousand votes in Ohio, how to maintain the legitimacy of our democratic form of government, if voters in poor Democratic areas are consistently forced to wait eight hours in lines -- something that for many elderly, ill, disabled, or those that have to work to feed children can not do.

How many elections can we afford to have disputed in Supreme Courts, before we insist that we knock this outrageous crap off?

If necessary buy more voting machines, instead of another aircraft carrier group, that Romney wants to have.
