shopped at a store that made a practice of holding all of your bags at a counter by the door when you came in, so one time she decided to turn the tables.  She brought a drug store bag filled with condoms and tampons and when the guard asked her to leave her bag at the counter, she gave it to him and insisted in a loud voice that he tally the contents in front of her because, she said, "she didn't want any store employees Christmas shopping through her belongings".  When she left, she demanded that the guard empty the bag and recount all of the items to be sure none was missing.  She reports that the guy was clearly uncomfortable, but that she enjoyed the whole thing immensely.

She put the poor guy, who is probably making $7.25 an hour, through all THAT?  Why doesn't she just not stop at the store if she doesn't agree with the store's policies.  Wow, that is callous - I feel bad for the poor guy.   Like his job isn't miserable enough, someone has to come in and ruin his day, just to make a point about the store's policies.

        7.25 guy was a guy.
if he had to force a customer (especially a child) to disgorge and line up the contents of their carryable, then 7.25 guy would feel bad. (hey! what's a 8 year old doing with a packfull of pastrami flavored condoms?)

but in this story, 7.25 guy thought to himself either, "ha ha ha, you made my day, miss."
or he thought, "this is why they pay me the big bucks. But no they don't, bah."
