    If polls and exits show it going a certain way, will the media make a call while other states are still voting, or will they just, as in the past, say coy things like "We're getting some very interesting exit polls from Virgina!" Unil all the polls in the country close?

      is extremely unusual. that would mean Obama is up double digits and is winning in a far greater rout than the polls predict.

      chances are they won't use the exits to project a winner per se, but they probably will use them to tell us obvious shit we could have figured out on our own. "Hey guys, Obama leads with black voters!!!!!!1111"

        Usually a race is not called if it is within 20 before any votes are tallied. Places like Vermont and Utah will be called on the hour the polls close, for instance.
