Republicans.  I've heard this is going to happen even here in Washington state at offices of elections.

They plan to harass at every poll they can, even in safe states.   Two reasons:

1 - clog up the dem voter intimidation phone lines with complaints
2 - reduct the popular vote

I have a good friend who has infiltrated the Republican Mormon political machine, and she told me about this strategy a couple of weeks ago.  Like me, she's a life long Republican who is voting Dem for the third election in a row.  Unlike me, she hasn't told anyone, she can't.

My opinion is that if you're in a swing state, a close state, or an area where there is a close race (WA governor's race qualifies) then by all means, call.  If you see even one person walk away as a result of harassment, call. Otherwise, ignore and vote.

I've wondered before about how public we make the numbers for phone banking from home, as it seems so ripe for sabotage, but jamming the voter protection lines is lower than low.

In that case, people who can't get through should maybe go to the campaign offices for serious voting problems? This is what the lawyers are for, right?
