blame a lot of things, from a biased media to minorities that vote twice to manipulated employment numbers to Hurricane Sandy. You will not hear many of them say oh well, the best man won.

After a few days/weeks, we'll hear more of how disappointing they were themselves in their candidate (remember how hard it was for Romney to get the nomination?), but they will still not accept that America truly voted for a Communist Muslim terrorist-sympathizer. It's just not possible! from their perspective.

      A BLACK MAN.

That's what they really can't believe. That a majority of Americans voted for a BLACK MAN as president.

They would have a hard time with a woman, but that woman would likely be white. That would be easier to deal with. And if it had been Hillary, they would be telling themselves that Bill would really be running things anyway.

But a BLACK MAN? Bad enough he beat one old white guy, but to beat TWO??? That just CANNOT happen.

That's really what's not possible to them.

Obama has shown that a good candidate who is black can put together a pretty powerful and motivated base. It's actually a bit risky at this point for the Democratic Party to NOT nominate a black man (or woman) next time. Not many will publicly say that, but let's face it, no white guy is likely to turn out such a high percentage of all people of color as someone like Obama.

    •  If Romney wins are you going to say that? (0+ / 0-)

No, we will complain about Ohio voting machines and intimidation laws. So clearly we can understand their highly partizan positions.

    •  If anyone that tries to use these excuses (0+ / 0-)

with me, I am going to just tell them, "no, it is because the GOP has awful ideas and most people understand that."
I don't plan to listen to excuses from them.  They lost because their ideas suck and they got these results because of them.
