  •  Congratulations on your adoption! (9+ / 0-)

I adopted a baby 35 years ago, and it was the greatest gift I've ever given myself. How old is your daughter?

Her name is Mud. Actually it's Mudmee, and that's her nickname. Everyone here in Thailand goes by their nickname. She graduates from university in March and wants to be a flight attendant. We're flying down to Singapore this week for a recruitment SA is holding. She went to one here in BKK and made it to the fourth round, one round short of the finals. She wants to be a Singapore Girl, but her Mom and I secretly want her to catch on with one of the airlines here so she can continue to live with us.

of her accomplishments. And I can understand your wanting her to live with you, but 20 can be an age where kids like to ramble. Ours did.

But he came back home, where he is living now, and we are delighted to have him here.

I'm thrilled beyond measure to become a father for the first time. I always wanted to have a daughter, and now I have a really great one. My wife and I are very proud of her.
