  •  While still recovering from my nasty bit of (5+ / 0-)

a healthscare (pneumonia and pulmonary thromboses), I should have the energy to park in front of the TV and watch what MSNBC has to say about the day's events.  While Obama is sure to win here in Illinois, I'll be keeping a watch out for the retirement of Joe (Deadbeat Dad) Walsh in the "new" IL-06, as well as Bob (Tea Party Lite) Dold in IL-10.  This election cycle drew my home into Jan Schakowsky's IL-09, so I'm pretty sure that she will be returned for another term in Congress.

I'm hoping for some "good" surprises in the "more and better" variety throughout the nation, and would be especially happy to see the announcement of a Senator Warren, Senator Baldwin and Senator Hinohosa, all of whom I had the pleasure to see live at NN12.

-9.88, -7.44 Social Security as is will be solvent until 2037, and the measures required to extend solvency beyond that are minor. -- Joe Conanson
