    The public must protect our public schools from the Repubs and the looters and the krazies.

    Great news in Indiana in several races.

      but her Democratic challenger, Reske, got 40% of the vote. This may not look like a win, but this was (R) Dan Burton's district before he retired. He ran unopposed the last three times he was elected to the US House. This is the first time there have even been a Democrat on the ballot in this district since 1948.  I think Reske did quite well for himself.

        that this district got a lot bluer in redistricting, adding Muncie and Anderson.

        Living in Kyoto-06 (Japan), voting in RI-01, went to college in IL-01.

          her know she can't vote only the party line and expect to get another term in the House. Hold the Tea Bagger short term/quick exit example of the 2010 crowd up to her on every vote.  Establish a letter writing campaign from day one of her term to let her know we are watching her.

          At growth of ZERO% to 40% Democratic in one cycle is pretty dramatic. Let's leverage that for 2014.
