That's awful that you can't vote. There should be a way!

but we were so stressed over recent events that we really didn't have the energy. We're in a blue state now, fortunately, so we feel better about it than we would otherwise.

In other news, I spoke to my aunt who's still in AZ, and she voted early - for Obama!

a blue state. I'm in NYC and I almost didn't vote. I'm out of gas and would have to get back to my old address to vote this evening. When I moved, the DMV was supposed to notify the BOE of my address change, but didn't. I decided I wasn't going with no street lights on in a lot of areas. Never realized how much things being dark freak me out until this last week. I'm used to my city's lights and buzz at all hours! I thought about it and I was vacillating between doing an affidavit ballot at the polling place of my current address or not voting, since it's so blue here. I went though because I looked up my ballot and saw the Supreme Court candidates were the same for both R's and D's and it pissed me off. I went just to vote for the Working Families candidates.
